THE LION KING

Yesterday Carter and I had the chance of a lifetime. We got to go see the theatrical performance of the touring off Broadway hit of The Lion King. It was awesome! Sorry no pictures. They could not allow pictures of any sort because of Disney. I was sad but that's okay. The actors and actresses did a wonderful job and the costumes were incredible. Carter was mesmerized by the whole performance. Carter especially enjoyed the giraffes and all the other animals. I enjoyed that they actually got people that could mimic the voices of the characters in the movie. It was so amazing. They sounded so good. I also enjoyed the costumes and being able to share that with Carter. The program went from 2:00 to 4:40. Plus we got there at 1:00 because they said the parking might be a nightmare but Carter and I parked right in front of the building. To say the least it was a long day. I was unsure how Carter would handle it but he did not complain one bit. I'm glad that he had a great time. Carter just kept saying grandma and grandpa Mitchell should be here, grandma would love the animals. It was cute.
