We decided to go on a little vacation to San Diego. Our first stop was on the Hornblower whale watching cruise ship. We thought it would be really fun to go on, especially since Carter studied the artic region in school. The gray whale migrates down to Mexico from Alaska. Unfortunately we did not see any whales, but we did see pods of dolphins and sea lions. They do a rain check since we didn't see whales. This summer the blue whales migrate through. Anyone you know who would love some tickets let us know.

A navy ship was coming home from deployment in the middle east. Very awesome to see all of them in uniform standing on the deck coming into port.

Submarine getting ready to leave.

Love all the sail boats.

After the cruise in the ocean we headed to Seaport Village.

Seaport village. Background is of the harbor.

A little art called "The Fish Tree."

Next stop was SeaWorld.

Scoping out what we were going to do.

Waiting for the Sea Lion show to start.

The Beluga Whale.

Waiting for the Shamu show to start.

On the last day we went to the beach. Carter could not wait to get into the water! The kids loved our vacation but the beach was probably the number one thing they LOVED!

Looking for the best seashells.

I know, I know, I know. What can I say but that it was chilly when we first got to the beach. Sorry folks but the 60's is not warm for us Arizona people. Plus the water blowing up with the 60 degree weather. Well you know it gets a little cold. That's all I'm going to say. On a up note it did get warmer and I came out to play. Of course with a light sweater on.

Love this photo of Addison running away from the water. Her favorite part. Running away from the waves. We got her in the water. She had so much fun!

Me and my honey!

Addison showing off her name she wrote in sand. All I can say is that we had a wonderful time in San Diego and we would love to go back next summer for sure!
