I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! We surprised the kids with a trip to Idaho! They loved it. The story goes like this: Chad and I waited to tell the kids until we actually were leaving for the airport. So we got them in front of the Christmas tree and video taped us telling them (which was really funny). Anyways we get into Claye's truck and all of a sudden Chad gets a call. Our flight was canceled due to "mechanical problems." Carter and Addison started crying. It was really sad. Anyways the good news is we called and got on a later flight, but it was a long day. They asked every 2 minutes when we were leaving. I'm glad we made it.

Getting ready to go. The kids had a blast. Although Chad and I did not get to go skiing we had fun sledding with all the kids.

Every Christmas eve we have a scavenger hunt with riddles to find a gift from Grandpa and Grandma Wixom.

We got home the 29th of December and opened santa's presents on the 30th.

Carter and Addison got razor scooters. Carter really wanted one bad! Our conversation in the car in Idaho: "Mom and Dad if Santa doesn't bring me a razor scooter, thats okay. I'll just ask for one next year." Love this kid. What a great attitude I told him.
