First we start off with Addison's preschool program. It was so cute. There are 6 little girls in her class (one was sick). They had a few songs that they sang.
Then off to see Santa later that night after her preschool program.
Doesn't get any better than this! This is up in Flagstaff. Can't wait to go snowboarding down that hill one of these days.
We got to go to POLAR EXPRESS on the 23rd of December!!! Which all the kids get to wear pj's. Here are the kids at the Depot Station!
Freezing our "BONES OFF." 15 degrees.
Front of the Polar Express.
The Conductor! Luckily he was on the same car we were so I got a picture of him.
Finally on the train. The 6:30 train came in late so our 8:00 train didn't leave till 8:20.
It was awesome because these seats can either face forward or you can flip them to face each other so we all got to sit facing each other. All the seats fit two to a seat. It worked out nicely.
After we got settled in they handed out cookies and hot chocolate. They read the Polar Express on the way to the North Pole.
Yum! Thats right I really enjoyed the cookie!
On the train they sang different songs and on the twelve days of Christmas the men had to stand up on 5 golden rings and put there arms in to a circle shape. It was so fun. The ladies stood for the ladies dancing part.
Here comes Santa onto the train. I didn't get pictures of the North Pole because it was on the opposite side of our seats and the windows were really fogged. All the kids got to go to the other side and see but getting a picture of it was not going to happen. Sorry.
Then Santa handed out the "bells" to all the kids.
At the end they got BELIEVE tickets, like in the book. Over all it was so much fun to do with the kids. I hope we get to go next year again.
Onto Christmas Eve. Since we didn't get back from the Polar Express till Christmas Eve we did our own family thing. Reading the Christmas story with the kids. After a fight over who got to hold what picture of Jesus we finally got to start.
Christmas pj's. Thanks grandma and grandpa.
Transformers
Princess of course.
Christmas day. The last 6 years we've had to wake the kids up for Christmas. Now Carter is getting to the age where he really wants to get up early. He came in at 5:30 but we made him wait till 6:00. 5:30 just seemed too early for me.
Funny teeth in Carter's stocking.
Addison's new bike that she's been asking Santa for. She was sooooooo excited when she saw her new bike.
Drums for Carter. I know what your thinking! Carter loves them and the bonus is they came with earphones.
Some fun glasses.
Yeah! My new camera. Thank you Chad. Your the best. Good thing I got a new one because my camera is pretty much dead.
Thanks grandma for the cooking supplies. I love them.
Carter and Addi picked out a snuggie. How did they know I always get cold. Yes, in the winter it does dip into the 30's here.
New golf shoes, which he's been needing.
Yes! Wii resort! Can't wait to try this!
DS games and legos.
Snow White. A bike and Snow White is what Addison has wanted.
Bendaroo's. Awesome. If you haven't tried these, they are really fun to play with.
Some new family games to play! Thank you everyone for the gifts, cards and just being great! We all had a wonderful Christmas.
