Carter and Addison all dressed up for Sunday. I love Christmas dresses. I think this is the best picture. Yes, I'll send it to you grandma's in kodak so you may print it off.

So handsome.

Addison showing off her new dress. She loves to get all dolled up for church because she loves nursery.

Sorry I got this picture mixed up it was suppose to be at the end of the blog. All of Carters lego sets.

Christmas tree before all the excitement.

Carter got a helmet, I wonder what he got this year.

Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Wixom for the cash. The kids loved it. I think Addison might of like the singing card more than any of her gifts. Go figure.

Grandpa and Grandma Dance stopped over for Christmas. Grandma was a big help with opening up all the toys. Thank you because I can't stand getting the toys out of the hard plastic wrap covering.

Of course Carter got more legos.

Carter's new bike that Santa brought and the plus is its green.

Going through the stocking. Lots and lots of little stuff.
Addison had to have a picture of her princess shoes. She loved them so much. Addi has not taken them off. She switches all throughout the day.

Addison new loving family grand dollhouse that Santa brought. I didn't know how much she would enjoy it but she loves it soooo much.

Ariel, Ariel and more Ariel.

This year the kids were so excited to sit on Santa's lap, even Addison. I was at school so Chad took them and got there picture done. Addison asked for a baby doll and Carter asked for more trains and a big roller coaster thing. Carter has been talking about going to see Santa forever and he said mom I'm going to ask for "The Big Roller Coaster Thing." Its so funny to hear him say it. Get this though it costs $20 dollars to get your child's picture done with santa. I thought that was ridiculous, so while the girls were pre-occupied Chad got in a shot! Way to go Chad! He said that they didn't seem to mind because they saw him with the camera.

Okay, this picture is from us setting up our tree. I really wanted a family shot so this is what you get. At least I tried. Next year I'll get the neighbor to come over and take the picture.

We have been doing lots of little projects this holiday season. Today we made sugar cookies with carter's new train cut outs. I didn't get more pictures because we had a little bit of a stressful night.
Carter and I messing around after I got to spend the morning in his class room making Christmas trees.

Today I got to go to Carter's classroom and help make fun Christmas trees. Obviously I forgot my camera after I set it out. One of these days I'll remember it. Anyways, it was so much fun. All the kids had a great time decorating and socializing with there friends. Carter made sure that I new ALL the kids in the classroom. He is so sweet.

Now on to our other project. We made this last week. I love doing the ginger bread house but the only problem is you have to let it dry before decorating it. That's pretty hard to keep the kids away while its drying. Although the walls fell down a few times we finally got it to stay.

I told the kids the only part I really wanted to do was the roof. So they let me have my little part. The rest was Carter and Addison creations.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARTER!
It wasn't that long ago that we took this picture, but now you are already 5 years old.

WHAT MAKES YOU, YOU.
*Big chocolate brown eyes
*Wonderful smile that brightens the room
*Big daddy's boy
*Your singing. You remind me of Grandpa Wixom, making up what ever words to a tune.
*Lively personality
*Trains, trains, trains
*Mr. Builder - Legos
*Loves to have friends around
*Wants to make everyone happy
*My little rule follower
We love you Carter more than words can say
HAVE A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY!

Christmas Lights at Mesa's Temple. It was so awesome. They do such a great job. It was pretty close to Salt Lake City Temple lights. Carter and Addison loved every minute of it. They also have concerts going on every night. We went for family home evening and that night they had a community college singing. They did such a great job, even the kids liked to hear the singing. We were there for about and 1 1/2.
Sorry about the pictures. Most of the time the kids were to busy watching the lights and did not want to look for pictures. Hey, that's what makes the real memories is when you can look back and say "I remember that time."

I loved this little palm tree so much. I thought it was so cute, so I had the kids kneel underneath.

You can't see the reflecting pond that great, but Carter wanted a picture with it because it had some little waterfalls in it.

Carter's pre-birthday party! Almost 5!
Carter was so big this year. I know to many it may seem odd but this is the first year that Carter let everyone sing happy birthday to him. He stood at the head of the room while we all sang to him. Carter has come a long way with conquering his fear of being around a bunch of people and handling noise. Chad and I couldn't be more proud.

The Lego birthday cake! I think it turned out great!

Addison just hanging out at the party.

We had a great turn out to Carter's party. I think we had around 30. I thought it might be a little crazy with all the people but everyone showing up made it so wonderful for Carter! It was a lot of fun, especially for the kids.

Lego's, Lego's and more Lego's

Jaden and Jackson also came to Carter's party. Carter was so excited that Jaden was able to come.

Carter and Mari! We miss you guys!

Donny made a Lego cake for Carter. He loved it so much that he walked around to show everyone.
